I passed my test back then and jumped straight onto a snarling Triumph 750. Every mothers worst nightmare.
Times have changed and so too have road and traffic conditions. With government legislation becoming ever more strict it's a harder challenge to pass your test but with the aid of the right training school it can be done in a matter of hours for the CBT (compulsory basic training) and only a few days for you're your full licence.
The most important quality an instructor can have is patience. All of our recommended trainers understand that riding for the first time can be a daunting experience. You'll find from the first moment, they'll be there to encourage you and guide you through the basics all the way to your advanced test if you wish.
